It has been 20 years since Wilson Creek was designated by Congress as a National Wild and Scenic River, and it is difficult to fathom just how many locals and others who Visit Lenoir & the NC Foothills have spent time enjoying the splendor of the more than 49 acres of wilderness with a meandering 23.3-mile stream.
